Professor of Administrative Science - Public Administration
Deputy Ombudsman for citizen-administration relations since 2003.
She studied Public Law and Political Science in the University of Athens and Political Science - Administrative Science in France, University of Amiens (Doctorat d' Etat).
During her studies she was honored with scholarships from the Foundation M. Stassinopoulos (1982-83) and from the Ministry of National Economy Technical Cooperation Programme (ΝΑΤΟ) (1984-87). Her Doctorate dissertation was honored by the French Government with a publishing allowance.
Since 1989 she teaches at the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration of the University of Athens. She has also taught at the Universities of Amiens, Paris II and Versailles - Saint Quentin en Yvelines. She has been advisor of studies at the National Center of Public Administration and has taught for many years at the National School of Public Administration. She cooperates with the OECD as a consultant.
Her current research interests include public policy, civil service, citizen-administration relations and the Europeanization of public administration. She has published papers and books in Greek, French and English. Her recent books include:
